Our firm's president started his career in the executive search industry back in 1989, when he was hired as one of the first research analysts within Management Recruiters International. By the mid 1990's, he was managing a team of research associates within the Troy, Michigan office of the same firm and conducted numerous middle management search assignments for companies such as Mazda, Textron Automotive, The Crown Group, Faurecia, Autoliv, Sony Electronics and Borg Warner.
In 1998, he founded the business with a $10,000 loan and within the first 30 days of being in business, the firm was profitable. Furthermore, within 4 months, the company was debt free. In 2001, the firm transitioned its focus to working at senior levels of management and began marketing its services internationally. These two decisions proved to be profitable for the firm, especially in the years 2007-2009 as more than 50% of the firms competition ceased to exist.
As of September 2008, our firm's president was one of 25 people in the world certified by the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), an organization recognized by the United States Government and the European Commission as the representative body for the retained executive search industry. The CRA designation represents evidence of the highest standards of search excellence and adherence to the ethical canons of the profession. Less than 1% of all executive recruiters have achieved this level of performance.
